None of us can go it alone and I believe strongly in working within a community context. We are so lucky in the Front Range to have an array of professional services to support us on our parenting journey.
As a professional and as a parent, I look to others for wisdom support and collaboration. By surrounding myself with others working in my field and other areas that are different yet connected, I find my learning never stops, I am not alone, and a community is formed. Here are some resources to other professionals who may be able to offer you support and information as well.
My practice is located in the Sage Birth & Wellness Collective space in downtown Longmont. As I member of Sage, we work together to support parents in the Front Range Area through services that include, but are not limited to, birth doula support, acupuncture, aromatherapy, lactation consultation, pelvic floor physical therapy, chiropractic care and much more. Please explore the website for information regarding other services and support for parents.
Another pillar of support regarding birthing in Longmont is Community Roots Midwife Collective located at 738 Coffman St. The midwives offer accessible and comprehensive home birth and reproductive healthcare services and are a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and support in our community.
